Dinner For Schmucks Delivered Out Of This World Comedy
Paramount Films put out a comedy motion picture named "Dinner For Schmucks" into theaters last summer. I finally got around to watching it,and I'm still giggling over how funny it actually was. I've never witnessed Steve Carell be so funny. I totally agree with the top movie critics. He definitely did carry this movie, portraying the comedic role of the idiot guy Barry. The motion picture stars: Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, Jemaine Clement, Jeff Dunham, Bruce Greenwood, Ron Livingston, Stephanie Szostak, Lucy Davenport, and Kristen Schaal.
The film revolved around two men named Tim and Barry . Tim's trying to get ahead in his investment company,or as they put it,move from the 6th floor to the 7th floor. He comes up with a plan of action,so his boss invites him to a dinner, which could decide the fate of his promotion. However, the dinner is no common dinner. He has to invite one of the best idiot he can find because his colleagues always like to laugh at stupid people, and seriously give prizes out to the greatest idiot.
Tim eventually encounters Barry, and is sure he would be a perfect fit because he collects dead rats and dresses them up. Unfortunately, he wasn't quite aware what he was in for when he befriended Barry. Barry genuinely destroys Tim's romantic life and almost his business life within just a couple of days.
Barry invites a stalker ex-fling to Tim's house, messes up a business meeting, puts Tim into a situation where has to propose to the stalker, throws Tim's back out, tosses Tim's Porsche keys into someone's apartment, and more. Nonetheless, the movie ends with an awesome premise because Barry ends up fixing what was most essential to Tim.
I believed the flick was freakin hysterical. It brought one comical scene right after another. It was never bland and amazingly outrageous. There was some comedy in this movie that I've never experienced before. They really looked deep to deliver crazy laughs with this flick. The plot was totally good. However,it really wouldn't have mattered if it wasn't, because the flick was just funny as hell. A complete riot.
Steve Carell was great as Barry. Whatever you could think about to do wrong,he did it. It was crazy. Oh, and there's a scene that showed a lady puppet, accusing people of looking down her dress, which was 100 % hysterical.
