The Dilemma Movie Featured Great Comedy & More
Universal presented a comedy picture "The Dilemma" into movie theaters a while back. I just watched it,and it showcased more heavy, intense drama than I assumed it would. I knew the comedy would definitely be there, but these people really new how to get angry. It stars: Vince Vaughn, Kevin James, Jennifer Connelly, Winona Ryder, Channing Tatum, and Queen Latifah.
The Film centered around two guys named Nick and Ronny Valentine.. They've been best friends since college, and are now embarking on a major car business venture deal, worth a substantial number of dollars.
The 2 main guys land the offer to supply a prototype for a new electrical engine. However, worries mounted as Nick doesn't quite have everything together yet. Nick is married to Geneva, while Ronny is dating Beth. The tensions get even worse when Ronny sees Geneva cheating on Nick with another guy named Zip played by Channing Tatum.
Channing really did a fantastic job playing the loony Zip character. Ronny at some point confronts Geneva concerning the cheating event, and realizes things aren't so black and white. Also, Geneva threatens to to deny anything Ronny attempts to tell Nick, and also tell a secret that Ronny doesn't want Nick to discover.
So now, Ronny is caught in a major dilemma, and starts sneaking around trying to get images of Geneva cheating on Nick. Ronny also begins acting strange around his girl and friends, leading them to feel he may be gambling again. All of these things combined, result in a big misunderstanding that has everyone in a group family meeting, including Zip.
And,as expected, this family meeting results in a massive drama fest, leaving lots of individuals with hurt feelings and Zip with a busted nose. With all this having gone down, Nick and Ronny still find a way to pull it together for their crucial business presentation after making up in an amusing, uncommon way.
I liked how the film played out. It truly had a lot going on with it,so it was never monotonous. It showed an incredible fight scene between Vince's character and Channing Tatum's character which was highly funny. I'll just say Channing's hard exterior gets dilapidated with tears.
Winona Ryder did an incredible job portraying the ruthless, cheating wife, and I really liked Jennifer Connelly as Ronny's girlfriend Beth. She's very beautiful. Also, Queen Latifah was very funny in it as character Susan Warner. I gave the motion picture a B+.
