I remember last season around this time, I was really not loving the show at all. I felt that the contestants weren't strong enough, I felt the winner of each challenge were completely wrong.but I cannot even tell you how happy I am with what's happening this season. Every week it literally just gets better and better, and this week was EXCEPTIONAL! This weeks mini challenge was a SCANDALOUS photo shoot. You know the kind, where something pops out, or something falls off. Carmen tucked herself so it looked like she had a real vajayjay, and Stacy took out her real tit OMG it looked so funny I couldn't even stand it! So they were chosen to lead the next two teams.
My favourite part was how Shangela TOTALLY thought she had it in the bag. Ha, the look on her face was priceless. Sorry Shangela.wait your turn! The bottom two this week were Stacy and once again India. I am SO happy with this lip sync because it was a TRUE LIP SYNC! There were NO gimmicks, NO wig ripping off, NO messy queens on stage. It was a LIP SYNC and each of them performed amazingly. I have to say honey, Stacy TURNED IT OUT! Her lip sync was inspired.she knew every single word and the song (Meet me in the ladies room) was PERFECT for her. Listen, I have never once lied about who I like and didn't like. I have strong opinions and sometimes people may not like them. I have made it clear in the past that I didn't think Stacy could be the next drag superstar.after seeing that lip sync she proved to me that there was something there. While I still don't think at this point that she will come close to winning, she has definitely made me sit up a bit more and pay attention. Bravo Stacy.a deserved win.
RuPaul also describes what qualities the contestants must have to be crowned winner of the show. "We're really looking for charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent... These are people who have taken adversity and turned it into something that is beautiful and something powerful."[5] The phrase "charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent" is used repeatedly on the show, the running gag being that the first letters of each word spell out the word "cunt." RuPaul adds:
"Tell Tyra [Banks] that the Queen has returned, and while you're at it have Heidi [Klum] clear the runway. I'm going to pump some 'realness' into reality. To be a winner on this show the contestants need to be a fashion designer, an American Idol, and a top model all rolled up into one. And they definitely have to be smarter than a fifth grader."
