Professional Digital Photo Printing Labs
Remember when people took photos with a poloroid camera? You would purchase a roll of film, load it into your polaroid and click away. When the film was used up (that's right, there was a period when you were limited to the number of pictures you could take), you took out the roll and took it to a drug store to have it developed. It would take anywhere from an hour up to a few days for the pictures to be reproduced. You had to wait to see whether or not you screwed up taking the pictures.
No doubt, those days are over. Most people these days has a digital camera. Heck, most people have one on their iPhone for crying out loud! It is so simple to take a photograph in 2010.
Presently, we don't have to wait for our film to be developed to find out if we screwed up the picture or not. We can see it right away after it has been taken. If we don't like it, we can delete it and do it again. Take as many photographs as you want and edit the ones that didn't turn out to your liking. The trip to the Walgreen's is over, unless you want your photos printed out.
The cool thing about the technology we have is that most of us can print their photos on your own printer at home. Just recognize that if you do this, the result will not be the best. Most photographs you print on a good photo printer at home will be ok, but they will not be the best possible you could do. Only a professional photo printer provides the absolute best of pictures.
Professional photo printing is not the same as printing yourself. These printers are able to handle a much greater capacity of printing than the printer that comes with your computer. They have the highest possible resolution you can get, which means it will give you the best picture when it comes to quality. They also print on all different types of paper in all types of sizes.
Because they are so good, these things are not inexpensive. We are talking in the $6000 to $20,000 range. Wow! The really good ones usually can not be bought in stores you would normally shop at for a printer. Typically, you will have to order one from professional photography store or on the Internet.
The cool thing is, if you don't have that kind of money to drop on a professional digital printing machine, take your stuff to Kinko's, or RiteAid, or some place like that. They will be able to take care of what you need..
