Google rankings is the single most important aspect to an online business. The reason of course is that the lower you go in the Alexa rankings the more authority Google gives your website or blog, the more traffic, leads and customers you will have.

So how do you get this kind of authority from Google?

Every post you make to your blog should be set up for specific keywords. By doing this Google will analyze that specific post and rank you high for that specific keyword. To make this easy I will use the internet marketing niche.

Let's say you want to write an article that you will post on your blog around internet marketing. Now your not going to get ranked on page one of Google for that keyword so let's find one that you can.

By going to googlekeywordtool.com you can put the main keyword in and Google will give you many other suggestions. If you scroll down you will see internet marketing solution. There are about 6,000 searches per month which is great and now we need to measure the competition to see if you can get your blog post on page one of Google.

Let's head over to the normal Google search bar and put "internet marketing solution" in to the search bar. Be sure to put the quotations around the keyword as you don't want to know the competition for that specific keyword not variations of it.

Directly below the search box you will see a number. If that number is less than 100,000 you have a great chance of getting ranked on page one of Google for that keyword with your post.

Remember, if you get page one, you now have a back link from page one of Google directly to your post which is part of your blog. This will begin the process of Google realizing that you mean business.

Now it's time to write your article for your post. There are a few very important strategies to follow when creating your article. Be sure to use the main keyword once for every 75 words within your article. No more and no less.

Go back to the keyword tool and put your main keyword in. Now look at the next four words that Google suggest and use them within your article. These are called LSI words and Google loves to see them as they show relevance to your main keyword. You can spam these throughout your article but don't overdue it.

Now be sure to title your article with your keyword in it. An example would be Internet Marketing Solution - Increase Your Traffic 300% With This One Strategy.

Finally, be sure to place your keyword within the first sentence of your article and within the description when setting up your keywords within your website or blog.
