See Out How to Autoplay Youtube Videos in this Information
Have you ever gone to post a Youtube video clip on your website and it wouldn't autoplay? That's annoying isn't it? You get so frustrated trying to find out how to make it happen because Youtube does not make it simple for you. You would think that they might put a simple little box beneath the embed section that says "autoplay" which would make it so much easier however they don't. Don't worry. It is very simple. I have the code down below that you can copy.
It's important to ensure that you use good judgment whenever you autoplay Youtube videos though. It can be really irritating to a visitor if they visit your website and the same video plays over and over. I would highly recommend not autoplaying a video on your blog unless it's highly relevant to your visitors and it's not pitchy or salesy. If it's a welcome video that shows your personality and is enjoyable, that could work but I'd suggest mixing the video up a bit if you want to go that route.
A lot of times people think that autoplaying their video clip on their blog would be a benefit because their video clip would get a much more views but that is only true initially. Sure you might get a bunch of views one time but the chances are your visitor may not be a repeat visitor to your blog because hearing the exact same video clip over and over tends to be really annoying. Have you ever gone to a website and instantly a video clip autoplays? What's your initial reaction? Do you pay attention to the video or do you immediately look for the pause button?
My point isn't to discourage you from autoplaying videos, it's to ensure that your video is relevant to your visitor. If you have "niche websites" or "how to web sites" where your ultimate goal is to just get someone to opt-in to your list or to buy something then this method could be very powerful simply because you might not worry about repeat guests. Your main goal in this instance is to get them on and off your page as fast as possible.
If you know how to do it right on your blog then you might autoplay Youtube videos on a static page initially to get your potential customer to opt-in to your list and then run your blog on a separate page of your website so that they won't have to continuously see your identical video autoplay whenever they are reading your blog content. This is could be a good way to initially build rapport with your prospect because they hear your voice immediately and the video pops out at them. Then whenever they visit your blog they'll be more willing to play other video clips that you have posted. I just would not recommend doing this technique on a widget in Wordpress or a static web page that your prospect can't avoid everytime they come to your website.
So bare in mind that if you want to make a long lasting impression with your visitors then it's imperative that you make sure your videos are relevant to the topic at hand and make sure that you don't annoy your visitors constantly when you autoplay Youtube videos.
