Excitement was in the air for a new episode of Being Erica that just aired on CBC with fans tuning in at 21:00 ET to be part of the action. Being Erica - already in season number 3 - has gathered its fair share of fans in the Comedy genre.

Now everything in Erica's life - her job, her love life, even her therapy with Dr. Tom - starts anew, and gets turned upside down in the process.

In case you're a new comer to 'Being Erica' - it's a Romance themed show that debuted on February 19 2009. Being Erica analyzes the life of Erica Strange, a 32 year old who is far removed from her life goals.

The folks on Lost will be time-jumping no more in less than two weeks, but PopWatch's other favorite time-traveling series will be back. Canadian broadcaster CBC and SoapNet simultaneously announced today that Being Erica has been renewed for a third season!

Judging from the CBC's press release, it seems the guys are not only out of Erica's life, but also out of the show:
"Season two left Erica with no boyfriend, no job and a personal life in shambles. In season three, we find a newly single, more confident Erica on the path to forging a new identity for herself as she becomes the person she's always wanted to be. Popular returning characters include Dr. Tom (Michael Riley), Erica's ex-boss and new business partner Julianne (Reagan Pasternak), mother Barbara (Kathleen Laskey), father Gary (John Boylan) and sister Samantha (Joanne Douglas)."

Both Ethan (Tyron Leitso) and, less surprisingly, Kai (Sebastian Pigott) are missing from that list of returning characters. While it certainly makes sense for both guys to exit the series story-wise, I do wonder if Ethan's departure is a little hasty.

It is produced by Temple Street Productions and distributed internationally by BBC Worldwide.

In Canada, the second season premiered on 22 September 2009.[4] Only 12 episodes were produced for the second season due to budget cuts at the CBC. On 11 May 2010, the CBC announced that Being Erica was renewed for a third season of 13 episodes. SOAPnet announced that it was picking up the full third season as well.

As the series progresses, she gains confidence in herself and her choices, dates and finds love, and gets promoted to junior editor at a publishing house, which she eventually gets fired from in the penultimate episode of the second season. She has a master's degree in English literature. During the third season she and Julianne develop a new working relationship as they run their own publishing company 50

With Barbara he had three children: Leo (who died three months before their divorce), Erica and Samantha. During season 3 he and Barbara start seeing each other again.

Barbara Strange (Kathleen Laskey) - Erica's mother. Her relationship with Erica has been strained at times. Erica believed her mother was the reason for her parents' divorce, when in reality, it was her father's infidelity-a fact which was kept secret from Erica.

Samantha "Sam" Strange-McIntosh (Joanna Douglas) - Erica's younger sister; a doctor. In Season 1, Sam and Erica are close until Erica attempts to dissuade Sam from marrying Josh...5 minutes before the wedding. In response, Sam refuses to forgive or engage with Erica for several episodes.

Leo Strange (Devon Bostick) - Erica's deceased older brother, who died 13 years ago in a barn fire. His death is Erica's biggest regret. Season 1 finale shows Erica rewriting history, and Leo doesn't die in the barn.

A total of 13 one-hour scripted episodes will air on Wednesdays at 11:00 p.m., ET/PT. The series, produced by Temple Street Productions in association with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, follows the life of funny, endearing, candid and sexy thirty-something Erica Strange who has the ability to go back in time to sort out her past regrets.

With the help of mysterious therapist Dr. Tom, Erica follows a time-travel therapy where she is able to relive a past regret each week in order to come back and make a positive change in her present. At the end of Season Two, Erica is stripped of everything -- her job, her boyfriend and her life are all left in shambles.

Indeed, Being Erica Season 3 Episode 1 is an one of a kind episode that you don't like to miss. We are giving you the FULL VIDEO for free because we don't want you to cry losing it.
