In March 2008, TNT announced that it had ordered a pilot based on a script written by Ray Romano and Mike Royce.[3][4] Both men had previously worked together on Everybody Loves Raymond. Andre Braugher and Scott Bakula were announced in June and July, respectively, to star in the series.[5][6][7] In January 2009, TNT ordered 10 episodes of Men of a Certain Age.

The series follows the bonds of friendship among three life-long friends - Joe, Owen and Terry - who are now in their late 40s. Joe (Ray Romano) is a slightly neurotic separated father of two (Brittany Curran as Lucy, and Braeden Lemasters as Albert) who had hoped to become a pro golfer but now owns a party supply store, and has a gambling addiction. Owen (Andre Braugher) is an overstressed, diabetic husband and father, who works as a car salesman at the dealership owned by his father, a former NBA player.

Joe gets a double whammy tonight: his divorce is about to be finalized and he catches Lucy's boyfriend Sadir peeing naked in his house. Daddy's little girl is suddenly a bit too grown up. He tells Sonia, "I feel like it's all going away from me," and you can see him aching to hold on to something familiar, but it's not meant to be. The divorce, despite Joe's occasional passive-aggressive comments, was getting a bit too amicable for me, so I love the raw and terrifically acted fight between Joe and Sonia, both for the issues raised and because it clears the air to allow for the more comfortable final scene between them.

People are probably talking about of what happened to these women, right? How they come together to stay on the house of Joe while his friends is not actually aware of this. That's the only line we can share for now but guess what, try to continue reading below for more about the show.

Be patient for now because it is actually hard for us to determine the exact thing or the story that coupled with the casts and characters of Men of A Certain Age Season 2 because we are still hovering from few online sources to check the latest updates we can get for another series that will take place next week. We will stop from here but of course, don't forget to watch the show if you really missed to catch it on regular airtime schedule and be a part of the story of episode three.

While the season premiere did an excellent job re-introducing the three guys, this episode starts folding back in the other characters. We spend time in Joe's Party Depot (I missed that in the premiere) and Joe's son Albert has a significant storyline, as does Owen's wife Melissa.

Owen is learning over and over again that running a car dealership isn't as easy as it looks, and when he takes some of his frustration out on Melissa, he inadvertently causes himself a new potential complication. Owen and Melissa's marriage feels so real to me-the dialogue is true and the problems are relatable, while their love shines through. They have a sweet, easy chemistry together, and I'm thrilled that we also get to see some of Melissa's daily life away from Owen.

Owen and Melissa attend their first new car show with Owen feeling like the king of Thoreau Chevrolet-at least until his father shows up. At first it seems OT is up to his usual undermining ("You can`t be soft with stupid people"-ouch), but instead he's passing the torch-legally, symbolically, and publicly, and I think Owen is up for the task. Yes his road so far has been bumpy, but like his initially hesitant then self-deprecatingly funny and sweetly touching toast, it will smooth out as he gains confidence.

To me, Terry is the most vulnerable of the men because he has the least support and he really has no idea what he wants to be when he grows up, so when he chooses Erin and her feelings over the job, I practically cheered. Let's just hope it sticks. "I'm embarrassed to be a salesman? He's an agent." Heh. Baby steps, Terry. Baby steps. "50 pounds ago you were lukewarm." I always love the diner scenes, but this one is the funniest so far. How these guys manage to prop each other while mocking them is bliss to watch.

"We're cool with 20 years of marriage ending with a criminal record." Joe's obsession with being called the defendant despite its complete lack of legal meaning is both realistic and so very Joe. It's easier to focus on a meaningless title than the actual divorce. "I've never seen so much Botox and bling in my life. It's like the Real Housewives of Chevrolet." I'm glad the Melissa wants a job subplot continues, though I never would have expected Don Most (AKA Happy Days' Ralph Malph) to be the one to give her a J-O-B. I hope she continues to find herself and doesn't get sucked into the ladies who lunch vortex. "Hey, dad-is this the blues?" It's an Albert-light episode, but the time he has is great. Love the condom water balloons, and no, I don't think he's having sex. Heh.
