The show centers on the Powells, a typical American family living in Pacific Bay, California, whose members gain special powers after their plane crashes in Brazil. The story arc is supposed to be that the Powells will realize they are not alone as they will meet others with superpowers, some who use them for evil, others who use theirs for good as do the family.
On this newest episode Jim is starting be suspicious of his new two friends Michelle and Dave. Whereas Daphne is running for the position of student council president and Katie will share a secret with Stephanie. On the previous episode we witnessed how the family went on a bowling night with the Powells.
