General Operation for the SL500 Server Lift

One of the key benefits of this server lift is the fact that it has a very narrow footprint. The platform itself is only 24 inches wide which easily allows you to navigate through a 26 inch opening between the server racks. Another benefit is the sliding draw or shelf that the server lift has. Once the desired piece of equipment is at the right height the shelf can extend 6" in to the rack making the job even easier.
You should also understand the use of the locking brake and stabilizer system.. When properly engaged, this will keep the server lift from shifting from side to side effectively.
The four castors allow the server lift to roll and swivel easily, pretty much like a shopping trolley. The front castors have locks to prevent them from swiveling which is an excellent choice when you are maneuvering the SL500 server lifter through a very narrow area. This lift is designed to be easily maneuvered through these areas.
