Well for one, charm bracelets have been around for 1000s of years, these seemingly small items have been utilized by early civilizations such as the Egyptians, Early Africans, as well as the Romans. From the very beginning people would make little items out of animal bones, shells, and clay. You could possibly ask: why would anyone do that? It only goes to show how we have that internal need of self preservation and importance, that feeling of being remembered somehow.
