How to Apply for BPI Credit Card

BPI credit card is one of the top credit cards in the Philippines you can select. When you are thinking to apply for one, you can view my tips on how to inquire for a credit card by visiting my post.

Applying a credit card is not difficult and easy if you have all the requirements required by BPI bank. Some of the basic requirements in applying are written below.

1. The customer must be at least 21 years old with a primary salary of P20,000 if he or she likes to apply for BPI Express Credit Classic, BPI Blue MasterCard, BPI SkyMiles MasterCard, Petron-BPI MasterCard, BPI Edge MasterCard and P50,000 for BPI Gold MasterCard.

2. If the applicant wants to have auxiliary cards, the credit card holder must be at least 13 years old and must be his or her better half, parents, kids, children-in-law, parents-in-law, siblings and siblings-in-law.

3. The applicant should have a household or commerce land line phone number.

4. The applicant should pass to BPI the totally filled out application forms.

5. Deliver or bring the following demands when applying.

i. Proof of Identification

You can bring any one of the following identifications as long as it is legitimate and it has your picture.

* Passport
* Driver's License
* Philippine Regulatory Commission (PRC) ID
* National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Approval
* Police Endorsement
* Postal ID
* Voter's ID
* BIR/TIN ID
* Barangay Certification
* Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) e-Card
* Social Security System (SSS) card
* Philhealth Card
* Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) ID
* Senior Citizen Card
* OFW ID
* Seaman's Book
* Alien Certificate of Registration/Immigrant Authentication of Registration
* Government Office ID (e.g. Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Home Development Mutual Fund (HDMF) IDs
* Certification from the National Council for the Welfare of Disabled Persons (NCWDP)
* Department of Social Welfare & Development (DSWD) Certification
* Company ID issued by private entities/institutions registered with the SEC or regulated by the SEC or IC
* Other valid IDs issued by the government and its agencies

ii. Evidence of Income

In order to authenticate your proof of income, you must pass up at least one of the preceding papers:

For Employed applicant:

Authentication of Employment or Contract of Employment (for Overseas Filipino Workers)
Latest payslips
Latest Income Tax Return (ITR) with BIR or bank stamp

For Self-employed customer:

Latest Audited Financial Statements (AFS) with BIR or bank sticker and most recent Income Tax Return (ITR) with BIR or bank sticker

Enrolling for a BPI credit card is not difficult and simple once you have the full requirements and you are familiar with the mechanism of application. Just take note on the requirements written above so you won't skip to bring it when you come on to the bank.
