Los Pandos Winery is that opportunity. Based in the south east corner of Spain near the township of Almansa, the Winery has been an ongoing entity with now more than 180,000 vines in production. At the moment the grape that is produced onsite is transported elsewhere for production and whilst this turns a healthy profit for the owners, with the proposed new construction of the Bodega this will increase production and radically improve profitability of the Los Pandos brand.
The Bodega is due to begin construction this year and the money already raised will be used for re-generation and updating of the vineyard to increase production, restoration and transformation of the already existing buildings. Once the Bodega is fully operational they will produce 300,000 bottles of high quality wine per year.
As well as the Vineyard, Los Pandos has 'another string to its bow'. Los Pandos will be taking that a huge step forward with a whole new concept in development. The aim is not to have another Spanish overseas development, populated by tourists and empty in the winter months, but a self-sustainable development that will have all nationalities joining their Spanish counterparts and will live, work and play in the Los Pandos area. The development will be ongoing over the next twelve years and aims to create substantial employment in the region. Los Pandos is very much being pioneered by their planning partners 'Fundacion Metropoli' as an ongoing development for the future.
With the fantastic road and rail links joining the major ports in the Mediterranean with the rest of Europe, the Commercial Hub within Los Pandos is ideally situated for most major goods companies. In the future Los Pandos will become a vital part of the economic and social development of the entire area.
