Can The Use Of Weed Become Chronic?
I think when looking at whether marijuana use is a problem or not you have to apply a bit of common sense. All too often people both for and against cannabis are that set in their beliefs, that they see things in black and white and hold extreme views which aren't necessarily the case, often refusing to believe that the other side has any valid point what so ever, this in my opinion is a mistake.
People believe that alcohol is harmful for health and many people often compare cannabis to alcohol.Stop been so hypocritical and that's fair enough to a certain extent Similar to alcohol, cannabis also has some health effects and it can be abused and can become a problem for some people. If someone starts drinking large amounts of whisky every day, they may be at risk of damaging their health and developing a problem with alcohol which they might enjoy otherwise. With marijuana the same problem arise, if you start smoking large amounts of the really strong stuff every day, you may be developing a problem with it and damaging your health.
People who use cannabis have a problem, or that it's impossible to have a problem with it at all, as both these things are not true. There is a group of people who can enjoy cannabis like alcohol in moderation, without over doing it and some people can't Don't assume just because you don't have a problem with it that nobody can, we are all different, and if you believe recent scientific research, some of us can have more of a genetic predisposition to getting addicted to things than others. Some say they find it fairly easy to give it up, others say they find it very hard and thus believe the addiction to cannabis is a physical one or psychological is up to you, and may vary based on your experience. Some people might have genetic predisposition to getting addicted to things and for them it would be difficult to give up. You need not think that just because it has not been your experience, that someone who says otherwise is automatically lying, it isn't necessarily the case . As few people can develop a habit and be negatively affected by all drugs, they can get that from marijuana as well.
Especially when it comes to its effect on mental health, I think one has to have an open mind when it comes to marijuana's potential for addiction and causing health problems like many things in life just because it hasn't happened to one person doesn't mean that it can't happen to another. I think it's best if we all come together and learn as much as we can, so we can give people a fair and balanced warning of the potential dangers and risks that they may face should they choose to use such substances, although as always abstinence is the safest option, so we should not be too polarized in our way of thinking.
